Following watching the occasion on the TV, all enjoyed a glass of bucks fizz to toast the happy couple.

Pat and Mary were also winners of our Royal Wedding Quiz.

Pictures of our Easter Party which was held on Saturday 23^rd April, with sing-a-long and comedy entertainment from ‘Mr Richard’ whom all of the residents love having a sing-a-long with! All  residents that wished to take part had a great time making cards, chicks and  bunny bunting  Pictures include, cards made by residents and John Gamble with his ‘little lamb’ support worker Coral Gibbs. Thank you to all who donated prizes for our Easter Raffle and bought tickets, we raised a grand total of £48.50 for Friends Of The Home.  Thank you very much, your support is as always appreciated.

Baking Day – Some of our lady residents, Jean Bailey, Lily Price, Anne Pooley & Ruby Strowger, enjoyed making fairy cakes this afternoon plain and chocolate and then licked their spoons to decide which flavour they liked the best! Of course Chocolate won!!

As we had such nice sunny warm weather this week, resident John Gamble started the planting up of the garden with  vegetable seeds he had asked for and also climbing plants and flowers. Residents Di Rands and Phillip Rolfe preferred not to go into the garden so they planted up some of the pots with seeds with the help of Healthcare Assistant Zoe Tigue. Friends of the home fund has brought a greenhouse which has now been put up in the garden to help the plants grow that little bit quicker.

Residents are enjoying their new water dispenser at Dereham. Tarnya is showing Tom how to help himself to a glass of water, and time he likes. The homes policy is to try and ensure residents are as independant as possible and stay hydrated.
